Walter Segers was born and raised in Belgium. He immigrated to Canada in 1993 and has since lived and worked in Toronto. Segers graduated with honors from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 2008. He prides himself on bringing real life experiences into practice. Combining architecture, industrial sites, parks and urban settings with semi-nude torsos, he creates sensual images, which unite man and nature, the erotic and the spiritual.
