Melissa Doherty graduated with a BFA from the University of Waterloo, and recently received the Arts in Academics Alumni Award. She was published in CARTE BLANCHE VOL. 2: Painting, was a finalist in the 2002 RBC Canadian Painting Competition, and recently nominated for the Sobey Art Award. She is a recipient of Ontario Arts Council and Canada Council grants, and is collected internationally. |
